  Surface failed in less than five months! Matt Brown refused to honor his written 10 year warranty and refused come to my home to see the very dull finish and terrible staining the surface took on.The rest of our bathroom was totally without any staining (clean grout, clean caulk, clean tile, etc). The surface was not abused and all of Brown's cleaning instructions were followed and we cleaned our tub weekly. Only the floor bottom was stained, demonstrating a problem with the finish. After first accusing me of spilling something on the tub to cause staining (nothing was spilled, no hair dye used, etc), Brown agreed to trouble shoot getting the stains out over the phone (even though I asked him to come repeatedly). This resulted in the finish bubbling up. Brown admitted he caused the finish to bubble, texting, "I made some suggestions that I would normally not do to get the stuff off. In doing that it bubbled the finish . . . " Back and forth with Brown via text and phone after that and Brown still refused to come out and refused to honor his written warranty. He admitted via text that he should come to "see the tub on my own [w]hether your claim of poor workmanship has any merit" and wanted to bring his product company rep to "determine if the product was at fault." He couldn't come right away and we set up a time two weeks away. On the Friday before the Tuesday he promised to come, he texted,"no one is coming Tues[day] or any other day" and I have not heard from him since. His refinishing job and actions left me with a stained and bubbling bathtub surface. I will have to go to small claims to get him to honor his warranty. I spent hundreds of dollars stripping off his refinishing job and getting it completely redone.
